Nicki Gardiner – Production Designer
Nicki Gardiner is an accomplished Production Designer with a rich and varied career across acclaimed film, television productions, and commercials. She graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, where she developed her foundation in visual storytelling and design.
Nicki has recently wrapped on The Teacher 3 for Clapperboard Studios and Channel 5, filmed in Spain & London. Her other recent work as Production Designer includes The Rumour (Channel 5, Budapest), Austin Series 2, Ten Pound Poms(Eleven Film), and Amazon’s survivalist comedy Class of ’07.
Nicki’s creative approach has helped shape the unique visual identity of productions such as the cross-cultural series Bump, the gritty drama Australian Gangster, and the joyful family feature H is for Happiness.
As a Set Decorator, Nicki was nominated for the Art Directors Guild Award for her work on the six-time Oscar-nominated Lion, starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman, and was Set Decorator on George Miller’s Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road.
Additional feature credits include 2:22, Gods of Egypt, Hotel Mumbai, The Railway Man, The Tree, Knowing, Superman Returns, Anacondas, Peter Pan, and the iconic The Matrix.
With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to storytelling through design, Nicki Gardiner continues to bring compelling and immersive worlds to screen across genres and continents.
