PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Nicki Gardiner graduated from the Australian Film and Television School with a BA specialising in Production Design and has since worked extensively as a Production Designer and Set Decorator across film and TVC production.

Nicki’s most recent Production Designer roles include the BBC television 6 part period drama TEN POUND POMS, produced by Eleven Film UK & Stan, Australia. Also due to hit screens 2023, the survivalist comedy series CLASS 07 directed by Kacie Anning for Amazon .

Versatile and visual , Nicki has established cinematic style for the cross cultural TV series BUMP , the menacing, gritty AUSTRALIAN GANGSTER and the joyous family feature H IS FOR HAPPINESS

In her role as Set Decorator, Nicki's work can bee seen in across a range of internationally successful feature films including the six-time Oscar nominated LION, starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman, for which she was nominated for the Art Directors Guild - Excellence in Production Design Awards. Nicki was the Australian Set Decorator's on the multi-award winning MAD MAX FURY ROAD directed by George Miller with production design by Colin Gibson. Nicki's extensive feature film credits showcase a range of evocative and diverse visuals, including 2.22 directed by Paul Currie, GODS OF EGYPT directed by Alex Proyas, HOTEL MUMBAI directed by Anthony Maras as well as THE RAILWAY MAN, THE TREE, KNOWING, SUPERMAN, ANACONDAS, PETER PAN and THE MATRIX.
